BRUTUS
Brutus and his siblings were rescued from a dead end street one cold February night after someone had dumped them there. They were only 10 weeks old and full of fleas and mange. After being treated for the mange, the sisters were adopted out and I kept Brutus, who is now 4 yrs. old.
BUBBA
Bubba was rescued after he lost his foot and almost lost his life to infection after being caught in a steel jaw leg hold trap. The vet said it appeared he chewed off his own foot to free himself. After surgery to remove his leg, Bubba went on to live a very wonderful life.

LOVIE
Lovie rescued after someone poured some type of acid on her back and burned her to her back bone. Lovie fully recovered and is living a wonderful life.

GIRL
Girl, the Border Collie. Rescued after her owner passed away and his son threw her out into the street to fend for herself. She was positive for hookworms, but after treatment she's done fine and is living a great life with Brutus, her best bud!!

Bella was rescued from the local shelter at the age of 3 weeks old. She was going to be euthanized because she couldn't eat on her own. The president of SASA took her home and the rest, as they say, is history.
